Sunday IN-PERSON Meetings FAQs
As the government ends Covid restrictions we want to make it possible for everyone to gather, whatever their situation or approach and the following FAQs are based on the guidelines from the government and the Church of England.
FAQS – PLEASE READ
CAN WE SING IN CHURCH?
Yes, but some may like to sing behind their masks
DO I STILL NEED TO BOOK A SEAT?
No, you no longer need to book a seat for the Sunday service.
WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I ARRIVING AT CHURCH?
There will be sanitiser provided and we would respectfully ask you to use it please.
There will be stewards on the door to guide you. They will ask your preference on the space you would feel comfortable with and you will be shown to a suitable seat. There will be part of the seating set aside for those who would like to ensure they won’t feel crowded.
DO I NEED STILL NEED TO WEAR A MASK?
In respect for other members of the congregation, it would be preferable for you to wear a mask until you are seated.
The main thing to remember is consideration for those immediately around you.
WHAT ABOUT SOCIAL DISTANCING?
Please give space to each other and don’t unnecessarily invade it.
CAN I CHAT WITH OTHERS IN CHURCH?
Yes, but again, please respect each other’s space and use your judgement as to whether or not you wear a mask, whilst chatting.
WHEN SHOULD I NOT COME TO Church?
Please don’t come to church if you have any symptoms of Covid i.e. coughing, high temperature, loss of taste, breathing difficulties. Also, if anyone in your household has or may have Covid, or of course, if you have been pinged.
According to Government guidelines, we are allowed to use our judgement, so please feel free to do this, but always show respect and consideration for other members of the congregation.
